Trademark Check UAE: How to Check if a Trademark Is Registered or Available
Trademark check and verification in the UAE: how to see if a name is registered or available on the MoET register (AED 350 inquiry), read the status.

A trademark search in Dubai is a search of the federal register at the Ministry of Economy & Tourism – there is no Dubai-only register. Three levels of search exist; which you need depends on what is at stake.
WIPO's Global Brand Database includes UAE national marks and Madrid designations. Search the name and close variants in the classes you plan to file. Good for early screening of name ideas; not a substitute for the official register.
The MoET Trademark Inquiry service searches the official register for identical or similar marks to the one you propose and returns the result immediately. It is filed through the MoET portal (UAE Pass login) and costs AED 350 per request. Because it comes from the register itself, it is the authoritative answer before filing. MoET Trademark Inquiry →
A registered agent's search adds what the inquiry does not: Arabic transliterations and phonetic equivalents, related classes, pending and recently published applications with their opposition deadlines, logo similarity, well-known marks not on the register, and trade names licensed in Dubai and other emirates. It ends with a written opinion on registrability and risk. Recommended before a launch, a rebrand, or franchising.
If clear, file the same day – the search result is only as good as the filing date that follows it. How to register →
